E-Bike Replacement Batteries: Identify the Right Pack
Choose a replacement e-bike battery by the manufacturer's approved bike-and-battery combination, not by voltage, appearance or capacity alone. Record the exact bicycle model, identify the existing pack, and confirm the specific replacement option before ordering. A listing that contains several bike names may offer several different batteries.

View folding e-bike specifications
Start with the complete model name
Our 750W dual-sensor folding e-bike listing identifies its product reference as the Velotric Fold 1 Plus. It lists a removable 608Wh battery, front suspension, hydraulic disc brakes and selectable torque/cadence sensing. Keep the “Plus” in your notes; shortening a model name can make a parts inquiry less precise.
The purpose of the example below is to show a verification process. It is not an instruction to install a different pack, and the illustrations show the complete bicycle with its battery in place.
Read the selected option, not just the page title
Velotric's current Extra Battery Pack catalog includes separate Standard and Long-Range selections for the Fold 1 / Fold 1 Plus / Fold 1 Lite group. The page also contains options for other models. Save the selected option and its link, rather than treating the entire catalog as one interchangeable product. Check the manufacturer's current battery catalog.
There is also a specification difference to resolve: our complete-bike listing states 608Wh, while the manufacturer's current standard replacement description states 624Wh. Those are different published figures. We have not established whether that reflects a revision, a labeling difference or another explanation. Ask the manufacturer to identify the correct pack for the particular bicycle before purchasing; do not silently substitute one specification for the other.
Create a battery identification record
Keep the following information together. Photograph accessible labels without opening the pack. If a label is inaccessible, use the owner's manual or ask the manufacturer for the appropriate identification procedure.
| Record | Why it matters | What to request |
|---|---|---|
| Exact bike model and purchase details | Names and versions can be similar. | Confirmation for your particular bicycle, including any production-version limits. |
| Original battery label | Voltage and capacity alone are incomplete identifiers. | The relevant battery model or part number. |
| Candidate replacement option | A shared product page may contain multiple packs. | A link with the correct selection and a written compatibility answer. |
| Charger identification | Buying a battery does not establish charger compatibility. | Which charger is approved for that replacement. |
| Included hardware | A product photograph does not settle package contents. | Whether keys, covers or other required items are included. |
| Delivery and support details | A catalog entry is not a delivery commitment. | Current availability, destination eligibility and the applicable seller's terms. |

Use a specific compatibility question
A useful inquiry is: “I have a Fold 1 Plus purchased on [date]. My original battery label shows [model/part number and ratings]. I am considering [exact product option/link]. Please confirm whether it is approved for my bicycle, which charger it requires, and whether any additional hardware is needed.”
Provide identifying information privately through the manufacturer's support channel. If you have not bought the bicycle yet, request the intended supplied configuration and approved replacement reference. An answer about a different model or a generic “48V battery” does not resolve your question.
The Fold 1 Plus owner's manual is a model-specific reference for battery handling and operation. Follow the applicable instructions; do not open the pack, adapt connectors or modify the mounting system to make an uncertain replacement fit.
Separate compatibility from availability
Ask three independent questions: Is the pack approved for this bicycle? Is the correct option currently orderable for my destination? What happens if I need another one later? A positive answer to the first does not establish the other two.
Current availability is a snapshot, not a promise of supply several years from now. Similarly, an unavailable option does not, by itself, prove permanent discontinuation. Obtain a dated response about restocking or alternatives instead of guessing from a search snippet.
Manufacturer stock, shipping and sales conditions are not automatically NexaEbike's stock or terms. This guide does not promise that a spare battery is included with the bicycle or held in our inventory.

Frequently asked questions
Will any 48V battery work?
No. A voltage match alone does not establish an approved combination. Confirm the exact pack for the bicycle and charger.
Does “Long-Range” mean I can buy it without further checks?
No. Select the correct model option and obtain confirmation for your bicycle. A marketing label does not replace identification, nor does it establish a guaranteed distance.
Should I use a search result's compatibility list?
Use it to locate the original source, then inspect the current selected product and documentation. Search excerpts may combine information from different options on a page.
What else should I compare before buying the bike?
Review battery access and the charger compatibility checklist. For your commute, use the round-trip range planning guide. Then compare the complete bikes in our folding e-bike collection.
